‘Saturday May 31^st, 12 educators from Iqitauvik childcare centre in Kuujjuaq graduated from St-Felicien’s college’s Early Childhood Educator (ECE) in house program. This is one of the highest graduation rates we have ever had. We attribute this success to the new in house program that allows educators to follow the ECE training while working at the childcare centre.’

Natturaq is the new 65 place facility in Inukjuak. The opening ceremony was celebrated on Friday the 6th of June with great success. This was a beautiful way of ending the Regional Nunavik Childcare week.

Elisapi Weetaluktut, the eldest educator at Tasiurvik is cutting the traditional ribbon with Lydia Suasi Kasudluak, the oldest child of Tasiurvik. Dora Inukpuk (in yellow) and Nunga Kutchaka both educators are holding the ribbon.
